Game action of the Nassau County Class C boys varsity lacrosse semifinal
playoff game between the Friends Academy Quakers and the Manhasset Indians
on Friday May 25th at Hofstra University's Shuart Stadium. Manhasset won
the game by a score of 17-7 and will face Cold Spring Harbor on Wednesday
May 30th in the final. Leading the Indians Scoring was Connor English with
five goals. Ryan Young scored four goals followed by Scott Herdemian with
two and Paul Pate, Jeff Izzo and Jimmy Wenk with one each. Manhasset
goalie James Petracca made five saves, his teammate Jack Meyer made one.
The Quakers' scoring was led by Alex Giocondi with two goals and teammates
Andrew Burke, Keith Ryan, Harrison Hefele and Jeff Giacondi with one each.
Friends goalie Dieterich made 14 saves........Manhasset Indians 2007
